Comedy and Tragedy
This 280 seat theater was designed to expose the feelings of play in all interior surfaces of the room through arrangements of theatrical elements. Projection of Comedy and Tragedy is not only reflected through plays, but also through the main fundamentals of a theatrical space which dramatize the effects of play. All these elements, like acoustical, mechanical, and electrical disciplines are typically hidden and the audiences are blinded by their familiarity. What this theater design does is to portray these elements in a way that not only the mechanics of these elements can add to the drama of the play, but the physical presence of the material can also contribute to the Comedy and Tragedy.

Advancing established systems by means of collapsing time Muni transit terminal/San Francisco
Present-day human race demands less time and more production. Collapsing time by performing efficiently juxtaposed with understanding human needs can facilitate that demand. As each frame of the ‘Walking Man’ evolves, the movements of his body parts become more detectable. The midsection of his body is still while his arm and legs do the work. “Cutting out” the static element obtains only the actions needed for accomplishing the task of taking off the hat while walking.
Observing the vigorous site of North Beach in San Francisco and studying the movements of sound, people, cars, and topography created a model of the established systems of that neighborhood. Functions of the initial “Walking Man” model superimposed over the equivalent functions of the site’s existing organism redirected the movements of the users through this mixed used terminal facility.
